Lovenda entered birthwork after homeschooling her two children and has been married for 20 years. She is a student of herbal medicine and works with a perinatal non-profit supporting Black women in the DMV. As a believer, her duty is to please God through the gift he has given her-compassionate empathy. She is considerate of the needs of her clients and pursues creative ways to keep them educated and grounded during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. Her tag line is “Nurturer for Life”.
